Job summary

PENN Entertainment in Detroit is seeking a server for fine dining areas to provide prompt, friendly service of food and beverages. You will describe menu items, take orders, and coordinate with the kitchen to ensure timely delivery while maintaining accuracy in checks and cash handling.

The role requires strong communication, good English, and teamwork to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced casino dining setting.

This position is responsible for providing prompt, friendly and courteous service of food and beverage to our guests in the fine dining restaurants.

• Describe all specials and items on the menu.
• Interact with guests to take drink and food orders.
• Communicate with kitchen for food ordering.
• Ensure prompt delivery of food to the guest's table utilizing the runner (if applicable).
• Have working knowledge of liquor, beer, wine and food that is served at the property.
• Handle all checks and cash according to Standard Operating Procedures.
• Assist other servers to give the best possible service.
• Monitor all tables in the designated station to ensure superior guest service.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness and customer satisfaction.
• Attends all meetings as assigned.
• Other job related duties as assigned.
