Job summary

Milestone is seeking a Server to provide exceptional dining experiences for our residents. You will deliver high-quality service during meals, maintain a clean and safe dining environment, and support a collaborative team that creates a welcoming community.

You interact with residents, families, and coworkers to ensure a pleasant atmosphere. The role emphasizes compassion for the elderly, strong communication, and the ability to work weekends and rotating holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service preferred.
• Ability to obtain/hold local, state, or county food handling licenses as required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service and ensure residents’ dining preferences and dietary needs are met.
• Circulate in the dining room to assess satisfaction and address concerns promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including tables, chairs, linens, and equipment.
• Follow safe work practices and support team compliance with Safety Committee standards.
• Assist coworkers beyond assigned duties to ensure smooth service and a positive team environment.
• Report any elder maltreatment or abuse in accordance with policy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

About the Role

In this role, you’ll ensure high-quality service during meals, maintain a clean and safe dining environment, and support a team that creates a pleasant and engaging atmosphere. You’ll interact directly with residents, families, and coworkers, helping to foster a welcoming and positive community.

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

• Must have weekend and rotating holiday work availability
• Please include the days and times you are available for work in your application
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience in food service preferred
• Ability to obtain/hold any local, state, or county food handling/sanitation licenses as required
• Must pass health screenings, TB clearance, fingerprinting, and background checks
• Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Pleasant, professional, and personable demeanor
• Ability to work independently, problem-solve, and remain calm under pressure
