Job summary

Advantech is seeking a Product Manager I/II for server hardware to own development and lifecycle of server products. You will conduct market research, define roadmaps, and work with engineering, marketing, and sales to align products with business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience in product management, project management, or product engineering within the PC industry or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of x86 platforms and PC architecture.
• Extensive experience with server hardware, including chassis, server motherboards, network cards, RAID controllers, and other add-ons.
• Familiarity with the server market and broader ecosystem.
• Deep understanding of server hardware architecture, networking concepts, and industry standards.
• Proven track record of managing product lifecycles and successfully bringing products to market.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as business needs require.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute product strategies and roadmaps for server hardware products, including server motherboards, NICs, storage controllers, chassis, and related components.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats of server market.
• Collaborate with engineering, marketing, and sales to ensure product alignment with business objectives.
• Gather and prioritize customer requirements to guide product development.
• Manage product lifecycles from conception to end-of-life, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
• Create and present product proposals, business cases, and go-to-market plans to stakeholders.
