Job summary

The Ridge at Sterling in Sterling, VA is seeking a Food Server to join our dedicated dining team. You will provide excellent dining service to residents during meals, maintain a clean dining area, and interact with residents to meet their requests.

You will collaborate with kitchen staff, caregivers, and other team members to ensure smooth service, while knowledge of the menu, dietary restrictions, and special requests helps tailor each resident's experience.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a similar role.
• Patience and customer-oriented approach.
• Effective communication and positive attitude.
• Understanding of food safety guidelines and hygiene.
• Availability for weekends and holidays.

• Collaborate with kitchen staff, caregivers, and other team members to ensure efficient and smooth dining services.
• Have a good understanding of the menu, including dietary restrictions and special requests, to assist residents effectively.

Skills:

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Patience and customer-oriented approach.
• Ability to communicate effectively and maintain a positive attitude.
• Basic understanding of food safety guidelines and hygiene standards.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• A high school diploma is a plus.

Work Schedule:

Full-time

• Tue, Wed, Thru, Fri & Sat
• 11:00am - 7:00pm
• Available on weekends

Part-time

• Mon, Tue & Wed (4:00pm - 7:00m)
• Sunday (11:30am - 7:30pm)
• Available on weekends
