Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a Full Time Server at Benchmark at Stamford to join our dining team. You will foster a clean, welcoming dining environment and provide friendly, personalized service to residents.

This role involves serving meals, setting up dining areas, assisting residents, and helping with inventory. The position requires following written and oral instructions, knowledge of dietary procedures, prompt service, and the ability to lift up to 50lbs while standing for long

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
• Must have knowledge of dietary procedures and related Health Department regulations and guidelines for food service operations.
• Must be able to serve food and beverages for residents in a prompt and efficient manner.
• Be able to lift up to 50lbs.
• Primarily a standing position and required to stand in one place for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Takes food and beverage orders from residents and serves meals on a timely basis that are both presentable and appetizing in appearance.
• Sets up and delivers meal trays and food carts to the dining room as instructed.
• Handles requests from residents who require assistance with meal selection or have specific needs.
• Sets up the dining room for the next scheduled meal.
• Assists in inventorying supplies.
