Job summary

The Tombs is seeking a server/front waiter to join Clyde's Restaurant Group near Georgetown University. This role offers weekly pay with flexible scheduling in a welcoming, fast-paced dining team.

You will greet guests, explain menu options, relay orders via POS, and ensure a seamless guest experience. The position supports training and advancement with a comprehensive benefits package including health care, 401(k), dining discounts, and wellness resources.

Responsibilities

• Greet new parties and cordially welcome guests to the restaurant.
• Inform guests of delicious menu choices and make suggestions.
• Relay orders to the bar and kitchen using the POS system.
• Anticipate guests' needs and respond appropriately.
• Establish a friendly, professional rapport with guests.
• Bus tables when the meal is completed and prepare the table for the next course.
• Total and present the bill, accept payment, cash out the check, and make change.
• Problem-solve guest needs with courtesy, dignity, and respect.
• Extend closing greetings to guests as they leave, thanking them for their patronage.
