Forbici Modern Italian is hiring servers for our downtown St. Petersburg location, bringing the vibrant energy of our Hyde Park concept to Sundial.

We seek friendly professionals who deliver elevated yet approachable dining with house-made pastas, pizzas, and crafted cocktails. The Server role focuses on positive guest interactions, ensuring an exceptional dining experience and a welcoming, team-oriented atmosphere.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years’ experience in a Server position at a full-service restaurant.
• Passion for creating memorable moments of hospitality for our guests.
• Strong communication skills to build trusting relationships with peers and Guests.
• Able to understand, speak and follow written and verbal instruction in English
• Excels in a team environment and is viewed as a team player by all Team Members
• A professional understanding of classic cookery, wine, beer, and cocktails.
• Previous experience with restaurant point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• Must be able to obtain food safety and responsible alcohol service certifications
• Must be at least 18 years old

Job Summary

The Server is responsible for positive Guest interactions while serving Guests in a professional, friendly and efficient manner. The Server plays an integral role in ensuring the Guests have exceptional dining experiences. At all times, Servers are expected to be attentive to the Guests' needs, making them feel welcome, comfortable, important and relaxed.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to balance and carry trays, multiple plates, glass racks and or/glasses
• Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned tasks including constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time.
• Must have the ability to lift, push, pull approximately 25lbs.
• Must be able to stand and/or walk for up to 10 hours during a single shift, while possibly navigating ramps, stairs, and elevators.
