Job summary

Erickson Senior Living is seeking part-time Servers/Food Runners for our Ashburn, Virginia restaurants. You will serve residents and guests with a friendly, service-oriented approach, input orders into the POS, and help with meal delivery in Dogwood Pub or Robin's Nest Cafe.

Prior service/kitchen experience is preferred; weekend/holiday availability is required. We offer good benefits, 401k with match, and a 30% dining discount for on-site venues.

Qualifications

• Prior service and/or kitchen experience is preferred, but we will train.
• Friendly and energetic communication skills.
• Must be willing to work weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand for long periods, carry trays, and lift up to 25 pounds.
• A solid work ethic and a positive, team attitude.

Responsibilities

• Become a subject matter expert on menu items, daily specials, and preparation methods.
• Engage with residents and guests by sharing daily menu highlights and recommendations.
• Accurately record food and beverage orders and deliver an exceptional dining experience.
• Coordinate food orders to ensure timely delivery to each table.
• Delivers food from the kitchen to the correct tables and seat positions.
• Communicates any additional information from the guest to the server.
• Assists servers in clearing soiled dishes.

Ashby Ponds by Erickson Senior Living is hiring part time Servers /Food Runners for our restaurants in Ashburn, Virginia. Our senior living community takes the time to really get to know each other, and we strive to create engaging and memorable experiences. Come join our team and have fun!

As a Server, you are responsible for serving residents and guests meals in a friendly, service-oriented manner. The server records and inputs beverage and food orders into the POS system, delivers and serves food, and ensures exceptional guest service. This position requires the ability to multi-task with a sense of urgency. Assignments include Serving, Busser, Runner, Meal Plater, Catering and Utility in our Dogwood Pub or our Robin's Nest Cafe.

• Compensation: $15.00 to $18.00 an hour, commensurate with experience
• Regular part time schedules are typically 4:15 pm - 8:00 pm or 10am - 4pm
