Job summary

Bally's Corporation in Rock Island, IL, is seeking a friendly bartender to deliver exceptional guest service across bar and dining areas. You will take orders, handle transactions, maintain clean workstations, and stay aware of promotions and events to upsell and ensure a high-energy service culture.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains a service culture to ensure superior guest service.
• Take guest orders accurately and promptly, using guest names when possible.
• Keep work areas clean and organized; operate bar equipment daily maintenance.
• Pre-buss tables, clear dirty dishes, and assist with restocking and inventory as needed.
• Assist with receiving funds and handling transactions for beverage charges.
• Remain knowledgeable about promotions and events to upsell where appropriate.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures and comply with regulatory requirements.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains a Service Culture that ensures the delivery of Superior internal/external guest service by all team members.
• Ensures department adheres to all regulatory, departmental and company policies and procedures.
• Responsibilities include taking orders from guests in a timely manner and correctly according to order given. Using the guests name when possible.
• Keeping work areas clean and organized.
• Use daily maintenance of all bar equipment.
• Pre-bussing tables and taking dirty dishes to the dish station.
• Responsibilities may include receiving funds (cash for beverage charges).
• Responsibilities include maintaining par levels related to inventory ordering and restocking as needed.
• Knowledge of all promotions and events.
• All other duties as assigned.

Environmental Working Conditions

• The work environment contains bright lights, loud noise, and stressful situations.

Target Salary

• Target Salary Range $9 plus tips
