Job summary

Big E's is seeking a part-time Server to provide food and beverage service in a fast-paced environment. Shifts include 1st and 2nd, each about 5 hours, with tipping wage of $5.49/hour plus tips. The role may also be used as a paid internship.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, taking orders, verifying alcohol IDs, handling payments, and supporting team members during service. Benefits and advancement opportunities are offered within Suburban Inns.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to interpret/extract information and perform arithmetic functions.
• Good communication skills are essential.
• TIPS or ServSafe Alcohol Certification may be completed upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly manner and make them feel welcome.
• Take orders accurately and ensure correct details.
• Verify ID for alcohol service and manage tabs per SOP.
• Handle cash/credit card transactions per procedures.
• Assist with closing duties and setup/breakdown of outdoor patio.
