CSAT Solutions LP in Houston, TX seeks a Server Failure Analysis Technician 1 to support engineers in investigating server hardware failures. You will review symptoms, perform visual inspections, run diagnostics, and reproduce issues to isolate faulty components.

You’ll install BIOS/drivers, interpret logs, and document evidence while following ISO 9001 and safety requirements. This role requires strong attention to detail and teamwork.

Competenze

• Associate degree or equivalent coursework in electronics or related field.
• 1+ year of electronics troubleshooting, diagnostics, testing or repair.
• Basic understanding of server hardware and power circuits.
• Ability to read schematics and technical specs.
• Familiarity with Linux/Ubuntu and BIOS/drivers/configs.

Mansioni

• Support engineers by investigating failures in AI server assemblies and components.
• Review symptoms, repair history and diagnostics to guide troubleshooting.
• Perform visual inspections for damage, contamination, or defects.
• Reproduce failures using test sequences and logs to isolate hardware.
• Troubleshoot BIOS, driver, firmware and software configs per procedures.
• Review diagnostic logs, error codes and test results for issues.
• Install approved drivers and BIOS/firmware updates per procedures.
• Document findings, measurements and images in tracking systems.
• Assist root-cause investigations and verify corrective actions.
• Maintain test fixtures and ensure adherence to ISO 9001 and safety rules.
