Job summary

Fairmont of Westlake is seeking a courteous Server to provide dining and table services to residents and guests in the community's dining rooms. You will set up tables, serve meals, and maintain dining room cleanliness in line with sanitation standards.

Responsibilities include handling all foods safely, adhering to federal, state, and local regulations, and working as part of a compassionate team dedicated to enhancing quality of life for residents.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Previous dining hospitality and/or full-service senior living experience preferred.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making.

Responsibilities

• Provide dining and table services to residents and guests.
• Set up dining rooms and maintain cleanliness and sanitation.
• Serve meals and manage dining operations as needed.

General Purpose

The Server is responsible for providing dining and table services to residents and guests in the community's dining rooms and designated areas. Responsible for proper dining set-up, providing meal and dining services and cleaning of the dining rooms. Responsible for handling all foods in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards and complies with all federal, state and local regulatory procedures regarding food service.
