Job summary

Fairmont of Westlake in Westlake, OH, is seeking a friendly dining server to join our resident-centered team. You will provide dining and table service in our community dining rooms, ensuring proper setup, service, and sanitation in accordance with standards.

Experience in dining hospitality or senior living is preferred. This role offers flexible scheduling and an opportunity to contribute to a compassionate, respectful environment that enhances quality of life for residents.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Previous experience in dining hospitality and/or full service senior living preferred.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Possess written and verbal communication skills.

• Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide dining and table services to residents and guests in the community’s dining rooms and designated areas.
• Set up dining areas properly and ensure sanitation standards are met.
• Assist with meal service and cleaning of dining rooms.
• Handle all foods in accordance with sanitary procedures and regulatory requirements.

General Purpose

The Server is responsible for providing dining and table services to residents and guests in the community’s dining rooms and designated areas. Responsible for proper dining set-up, providing meal and dining services and cleaning of the dining rooms. Responsible for handling all foods in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards and complies with all federal, state and local regulatory procedures regarding food service.
