Job summary

Cascade Living Group is seeking a Dining Services Associate (Server) for Alpine Way. This role focuses on safe, comfortable dining experiences for our seniors, building relationships with residents and families, and coordinating with the dining room manager on dietary needs.

Responsibilities include preparing dining areas, serving meals, and maintaining cleanliness, while flexibility to work Sundays through Thursdays in the stated shifts is required.

• Food Workers Card is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dining room for all meals, completing the pre-meal procedures.
• Fill resident food requests, transport food to dining room or deliver service trays to resident’s units.
• Establish effective relationships with residents, family members and staff.
• Use proper tasting techniques to understand the flavor of all entrees and know their ingredients.
• Demonstrate organizational skills around time management.
• Understand menus and answer questions that might arise.
• Ensure cleanliness in both kitchen and dining room.
• Actively participates as a member of a team and is committed to working toward goals set by management.
• Promote the mission, values, and beliefs of Cascade Living.

As aDining Services Associate (Server),you’re responsible for creating a safe, comfortable and pleasant dining experience for our seniors. Unlike other serving positions in hospitality (restaurants, hotels, resorts), in this role you’ll have the opportunity to build life-long relationships serving our residents the nutritious meals that keep them thriving every day.

• Work with the dining room manager to identify dietary needs and develop appropriate dietary plans

Position Requirements:

$17.13 - $19.13/hour

• Full Time

• Sunday - Thursday

• Sunday & Thursday 4pm-8pm + Monday-Wednesday 11:30am - 8pm
