Job summary

Cascade Living is seeking a part-time Server (Dining Services Associate) to deliver a safe, pleasant dining experience for residents. You will work with the dining room manager to identify dietary needs and ensure compassionate, professional service.

Responsibilities include preparing dining rooms, delivering meals, and maintaining cleanliness while building relationships with residents and their families. Weekend/evening availability is required.

Qualifications

• Food Workers Card required.
• Previous dining services experience preferred.

Server (Dining Services Associate) you’re responsible for creating a safe, comfortable and pleasant dining experience for our seniors. Unlike other serving positions in hospitality (restaurants, hotels, resorts), in this role you’ll have the opportunity to build life-long relationships serving our residents the nutritious meals that keep them thriving every day.

• Work with the dining room manager to identify dietary needs and develop appropriate dietary plans

What you can expect to do as a Server (Dining Services Associate) for Regency Grand

• Prepare dining room for all meals, completing the pre-meal procedures
• Fill resident food requests, transport food to dining room or deliver service trays to resident’s units
• Establish effective relationships with residents, family members and staff
• Use proper tasting techniques to understand the flavor of all entrees and have knowledge of their ingredients, prior to meal service
• Demonstrate organizational skills around time management
• Ability to understand menus and answer questions that might arise
• Ensure cleanliness in both kitchen and dining room
• Actively participates as a member of a team and is committed to working toward goals set by management
• Promote the mission, values and beliefs of Cascade Living

$16.90 - $18.90/hour
*D depending on experience

• 3:30pm-7pm Saturday & Monday-Tuesday
• 6am-1:30pm Saturday-Monday
• Weekend Availability Required
