The Northbridge Companies seeks a Dining Room Supervisor / Server to lead the serving team in a high-volume senior living environment. You will assist with scheduling, supervise and train dining associates, and ensure smooth service from kitchen to table.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one-year experience in fine dining or high-volume food service.

Responsibilities

Dining Room Supervisor Job Summary

Your job as a Dining Room Supervisor is key in making sure our residents enjoy great service and delicious meals. Working closely with our Culinary Director, you will assist with scheduling, supervising and training dining associates. You willhelp make sure tasty dishes get smoothly from the kitchen to the table.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the activities and workflow of the serving team during meals to keep things flowing smoothly.
• Serve as a point of contact for the serving team during meals to troubleshoot issues.
• Provide hands-on leadership to servers, maintaining high standards for service, professionalism, and teamwork.
• Monitor the dining room throughout meals, addressing resident concerns.
• Check that dishes look perfect before giving them to residents.
• Ensure the kitchen and dining room are kept clean and that the servers are following rules to keep the food safe.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of one-year experience in fine dining or high-volume food service, preferably in assisted living, full service and/or hospitality industries.
• Previous leadership, supervisory, or lead server experience preferred.
• Requires the ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, to perform job responsibilities and follow safety and operational procedures.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Be friendly and easy to approach to make guests feel welcome.
