The position is part-time with an evening shift (3:00pm - 7:00pm). Prior food service experience is preferred, and applicants should be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work well in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Follow all safety and food handling regulations.
• Participate in in-service training and staff meetings as required.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in food service, preferably in a healthcare or assisted living environment, is an asset.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation, sanitation, and dietary guidelines.
• Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with residents and staff.
• Compassionate, patient, and attentive to the needs of the elderly.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
