Job summary

Heritage Hall Healthcare & Rehab Centers in Tazewell, VA is seeking a Server-Dietary Aide to join our kitchen team. You will assist with preparing nutritious meals and work with the clinical team to meet Residents' dietary needs. This role supports a compassionate, home-like environment.

Shifts are 12pm–8pm, Monday through Friday, plus every other weekend. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401K, PTO and DailyPay to support our caregivers.

Qualifications

• Prior food service experience preferred.
• Prior healthcare experience preferred.
• Ability to understand written and verbal instructions.
• Knowledge of dietary services practices and procedures.
• Weekend availability required (every other weekend).

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the clinical team to ensure nutritious meals for residents.
• Communicate and collaborate to serve meals to a large number of residents with specific needs.
• Assist with meal preparation and adhere to dietary requirements and safety standards.
• Support a clean, organized dining operation and patient-centered service.

Dietary Aides work closely with our clinical team to ensure that each Resident has a nutritional meal while still enjoying food that they love. Communication and teamwork is essential to provide meals to a large amount of Residents with specific wants and needs.
