Ebenezer in Roseville is seeking a Server/Culinary Assistant for our Assisted Living community. You will help with dining room meal service for residents and prep/stock kitchenettes, aiming to create a welcoming atmosphere and meet dietary needs.

The role includes evening shifts from 4pm to 7pm, about 15 hours every two weeks, with alternating weekends and holiday rotation. This is a part-time position in a care-focused environment.

Amira Choice of Roseville on Lexington avenue is a beautiful, well-designed senior living community that offers the highest level of distinction for our residents. We offer 80 senior units with a mix of Independent/Assisted Living as well as Memory Care and Care Suites. Ebenezer is looking for a Server/Culinary Assistant to join our team! This role is responsible for dining room meal service to our senior residents and maintaining supplies in the kitchenettes for our Assisted Living Community.

This nutrition services schedule includes;

• 15 hours per two weeks
• evening shift: 4pm-7pm
• Includes every other weekend and a holiday rotation

Responsibilities

• Serves meals and ensures that the dining area is clean and inviting:
• Follows meal serving schedule and procedures.
• Offers resident meal choices and meets resident’s specific dietary needs.
• Uses proper safety and sanitation techniques.
• Follows dining room cleaning schedule and procedures.
• Follow proper procedures for dining room set-up.
• Follows proper work flow to stay on task.
• Learns and becomes proficient with EMenu System and restaurant style service.
• Ensures all dishes (including flatware, drinkware, etc.) are washed, sanitized, and put away before end of shift.
• Promotes and encourages positive resident relations and satisfaction:
• Welcomes residents and initiates conversation.
• Accommodates resident requests such as requests for food substitution, change in seating, etc.
• Listens to any complaints and responds appropriately. Refers issues to Executive Director and Culinary Director as appropriate.
