Job summary

Ebenezer is seeking a Server/Culinary Assistant at Amira Choice Champlin in Champlin, MN. The role focuses on dining room meal service for senior residents and maintaining kitchenette supplies within the Assisted Living Community.

The schedule is 32 hours per two weeks with day/early evening shifts and every other weekend and holiday rotation. Responsibilities include serving meals, following procedures, accommodating dietary needs, and upholding safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in dining room service or food service is preferred.
• High School Diploma required or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Accommodate resident dietary needs and food substitutions.

Ebenezer is looking for a Server/Culinary Assistant to join our team! This role is responsible for dining room meal service to our senior residents and maintaining supplies in the kitchenettes for our Assisted Living Community.

This nutrition services schedule includes;

• 32 hours per two weeks


• day/early evening shifts : 4:00pm-7:00pm, 10:30am-7:00pm


• every other weekend Sat/Sunday and holiday rotation

Responsibilities

• Serves meals and ensures that the dining area is clean and inviting:


• Follows meal serving schedule and procedures.


• Offers resident meal choices and meets resident’s specific dietary needs.


• Uses proper safety and sanitation techniques.


• Follows dining room cleaning schedule and procedures.


• Follow proper procedures for dining room set-up.


• Follows proper work flow to stay on task.


• Learns and becomes proficient with EMenu System and restaurant style service.


• Ensures all dishes (including flatware, drinkware, etc.) are washed, sanitized, and put away before end of shift.


• Promotes and encourages positive resident relations and satisfaction:


• Welcomes residents and initiates conversation.


• Accommodates resident requests such as requests for food substitution, change in seating, etc.


• Listens to any complaints and responds appropriately. Refers issues to Executive Director and Culinary Director as appropriate.
