Job summary

Grass Clippings, located in Tempe, AZ, is seeking a part-time Server, Busser, Host, Bartender, or Barback to join our fast-paced food & beverage team at Troon-managed facilities.

As part of a renowned golf and hospitality organization, you will deliver exceptional guest service, take orders, describe specials, and maintain station cleanliness while supporting inventory and opening/closing duties.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing service experience preferred.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced food & beverage setting.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests, ensuring a warm welcome.
• Describe specials and assist guests with menu recommendations.
• Take food and beverage orders and deliver promptly.
• Refill water and clear used items between courses.
• Clear and reset tables after guests depart and maintain station readiness.
• Assist with inventory and maintain accurate records.
• Handle opening/closing duties including cash handling and POS use.

Grass Clippings, located in Tempe, AZ, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Server, Busser, Host, Bartender, Barback! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Our Bi-weekly farmers market is a neighborhood go to. And we are a prime destination for corporate events. Key Responsibilities:

Provides immediate attention to all guests upon seating.

Describes specials of the day to the guests. Answers questions regarding any menu item and offers suggestions of menu items when appropriate.

Takes food and beverage orders from guests and delivers food to guests promptly after preparation.

Fills and re-fills water glasses and removes any place settings not being used.

Clears dishes located in front of guest upon completion of course.

Clears and resets tables when guests leave, to include but not limited to: changes tablecloth, brushes chairs, places chairs at table, replaces silverware and glassware, and replaces napkins.

Stocks bar, mixes and serves alcoholic beverages, assists in cost control, inventory and maintaining inventory records.

Assists & supports in inventory control through conscientious use and careful monitoring of all food and beverage products. Communicates with management in a timely manner when supplies are needed.

Performs opening and closing duties which include, but are not limited to: inventory, cash control, cleaning, and restocking.

Accountable for checks and cash transactions. Utilizes Point of Sales System.

Welcomes each guest with a friendly greeting and escorts to their assigned table

Seats guests in station rotation while maintaining guest lists and following/enforcing check issue procedures

Retains knowledge of all menu items, prices and general service procedures
