Levy Sector in Kansas City is hiring a Server / Busser for KC Zoo & Aquarium. This role supports table service for the Glimmer seasonal pop-up, delivering friendly guest care.

You will take orders on handheld POS, clear dishes, reset tables, stock stations, and help with opening/closing duties. The job emphasizes great guest service and teamwork within a vibrant venue atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Experience in the service industry and/or related or similar role(s).
• Able to tolerate both high and low business periods.
• ServSafe Alcohol certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest service including greeting guests, assisting with seating, answer menu questions, provide friendly attentive care.
• Order-Taking: Accurately enter food & beverage orders from guests using handheld POS devices.
• Food & Beverage Service: Deliver orders promptly, ensuring accuracy, quality, and aesthetically pleasing presentation.
• Bussing Duties: clear used dishes, glassware, trash, sanitize & reset tables/chairs/service areas.
• Opening/Closing Duties: Stock supplies, prepare service station, maintain cleanliness, complete end-of-event breakdown.

SERVER / BUSSER - KC Zoo & Aquarium

Summary: The Server / Busser provides table service and dining area care for specialty outlets and events at KC Zoo & Aquarium.

This role will be primarily dedicated to GLIMMER - a seasonal pop-up experience at KC Zoo & Aquarium.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent guest service including: greeting guests, assisting with seating, answer menu questions, provide friendly attentive care.
• Order-Taking: Accurately enter food & beverage orders from guests using handheld Point of Sale (POS) devices.
• Food & Beverage Service: Deliver orders promptly, ensuring accuracy, quality, and aesthetically pleasing presentation.
• Bussing Duties: clear used dishes, glassware, trash, sanitize & reset tables/chairs/service areas, maintain clean & organized dining / guest areas.
• Opening/Closing Duties: Stock supplies, prepare service station, maintain cleanliness, complete end-of-event breakdown
• Other tasks as needed / requested.
• Be Nice.
