Job summary

BoujieMana, a premier dining venue in central San Diego, seeks experienced Servers to deliver elevated hospitality for a high-end dining experience. The team thrives on a positive attitude, vibrant energy, and guest connection, with emphasis on composure under pressure and teamwork.

The role offers hourly compensation of $17.75 plus tips, onsite gym access, and comprehensive benefits for full-time staff. Training, growth, and a premium dining environment are provided.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Food Handler’s Card.
• Available to work on weekends and holidays.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds multiple times daily.
• Able to place cases, pans, utensils, and plates on low and high shelves.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of winery and various cuisines.

Responsibilities

• Warmly welcome guests and create an exceptional dining experience from arrival through departure.
• Maintain a proactive, guest-focused approach to anticipate needs and exceed expectations.
• Promote BoujieMana’s mission and values through service.
• Demonstrate knowledge of menu offerings, pricing, preparation methods, and premium ingredients.
• Present menus, answer questions, and provide thoughtful food and beverage recommendations.
• Accurately take and enter orders into the POS system (Shift4).
• Verify guest IDs to ensure legal drinking age compliance.
• Deliver food and beverages to a high service standard.
• Observe tables and respond promptly to guest needs for a seamless experience.
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams for timely, accurate orders.
• Process cash/credit transactions accurately using POS.
• Fill in for colleagues to maintain guest service standards.

Position Summary

BoujieMana is a full-service restaurant in central San Diego serving both the surrounding neighborhood and the internal TCWGlobal community. The restaurant offers an elevated, yet approachable dining experience focused on quality and hospitality.

The space includes a full bar, indoor and outdoor seating, a private VIP room, and a training and event center for up to 120 guests. BoujieMana serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner using high-quality ingredients at a higher-end price point while remaining accessible.

With strong evening and weekend traffic and convenient parking, BoujieMana operates as both a neighborhood destination and an event-driven hospitality space. We are looking for experienced restaurant Servers who are passionate about delivering exceptional hospitality and creating memorable dining experiences for our guests. This role requires composure under pressure, attention to detail, and a team-focused mindset to ensure service flows seamlessly from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

Primary

• Verify guest identification to ensure compliance with legal drinking age requirements
• Deliver food and beverages in accordance with BoujieMana’s elevated service standards
• Observe tables attentively to respond promptly to guest needs and ensure a seamless dining experience
• Ensure guest satisfaction throughout service and address any concerns with professionalism, courtesy, and a solution-oriented approach
• Collaborate closely with kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of all orders
• Process cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently using the Shift4 POS system
• Fill-in for fellow employees where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations
