Big Red Restaurant & Sports Bar in Omaha, NE is seeking servers to join its high-volume, full-service dining team. You will greet guests, take orders, serve food and drinks, and ensure a top-notch dining experience in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires strong communication, customer service, and teamwork. Experience with Toast POS and alcohol service is valued; flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends is essential.

Big Red Restaurant & Sports Bar, 8100 Cass Street, Omaha, NE has an excellent opportunity for servers in our high-volume, full-service restaurant & Sports Bar.

You’ll be the face of our restaurant and responsible for our customers’ experiences. Food server responsibilities include ensuring tables are greeted in a friendly and professional manner and given a top-notch dining experience. Through their stay, you will ensure our guests get drinks and food and that their dining needs are met.

You must have patience and flexibility, be customer-oriented, responsible, trustworthy, a good communicator, and a strong team player. We are looking for dependable employees who are willing to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, and weekends. You need to be quick on your feet and have a polite and friendly attitude. We'd like to meet you if you enjoy talking to people and thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

Your goal will be to provide high-quality service that will help us maintain and attract customers.

Position Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Maintain complete knowledge of the restaurant’s food and beverage menus and preparation.
• Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff.
• Sell alcohol and food items.
• Enter and complete customers’ orders through the Toast pos system; accept different payment types and make change.
• Prepare restaurant tables with particular attention to sanitation and order.
• Interact with guests in a friendly and efficient manner; ensure guests’ complete satisfaction by exceeding their expectations.
• Clear and reset tables.
• Check identification of guests consuming alcoholic beverages; refuse to serve beverages politely to guests not of legal age.
• Report to work in a neat and clean uniform; maintain well-groomed hair and personal hygiene as established by company policy.
• Perform other duties as directed.
