Job summary

Big Red Restaurant & Sports Bar in Omaha, NE is seeking servers to join its high-volume, full-service dining team. You will greet guests, take orders, serve food and drinks, and ensure a top-notch dining experience in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires strong communication, customer service, and teamwork. Experience with Toast POS and alcohol service is valued; flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends is essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to pass the Responsible Service of Alcohol Test with a score of 90% or better.
• State alcohol server license and food handler’s card required at some locations.
• Basic mathematical skills; ability to count change.
• Basic reading and writing skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Multi-task oriented.
• Knowledge of workplace safety procedures.
• Must be able to make suggestions regarding food and beverage items.
• Minimum age requirement of 19 years old

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of the restaurant’s food and beverage menus.
• Collaborate with other servers and kitchen staff.
• Sell alcohol and food items.
• Enter and complete orders through the Toast POS system; handle payments and make change.
• Prepare tables with sanitation and order in mind.
• Interact with guests to ensure satisfaction.
• Clear and reset tables.
• Check IDs for alcohol service; refuse service to underage guests politely.
• Report to work in neat uniform and maintain hygiene as per policy.
• Perform other duties as directed.
