Job summary

Hilton Garden Inn Boston/Waltham in Waltham, MA is seeking a friendly Server/Bartender to deliver memorable guest experiences in our Bistro. You will serve food and beverages, craft cocktails, and connect with guests in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending or food service experience preferred; willing to train the right candidate
• Must be 21+ to serve alcohol
• Knowledge of spirits, cocktails, beer and wine
• TIPS/ServSafe Alcohol Certification is a plus
• Basic math skills for cash handling
• Ability to safely handle and serve food and beverages
• Strong English communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, attentive, and exceptional service to every guest
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
• Educate guests on menu and beverage offerings and make recommendations
• Anticipate guest needs and create a welcoming dining experience
• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe bar and dining area
• Follow all food and beverage safety standards
