Job summary

Montage Palmetto Bluff is seeking a Server Attendant to join our team. You will assist the servers, stock and clean tables, and help deliver a memorable dining experience for guests. The role offers opportunities to learn, grow, and contribute to a premium hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to multitask across station needs while maintaining quality.

• Strong basic communication to interact with guests and teammates.
• Food and beverage experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Server’s team by stocking, cleaning, and managing your section flow.
• Set and reset tables with clean silverware, glassware, share plates, and napkins.
• Pre-bussing and bussing during service; help servers with steps as needed.
• Clean spills and broken items immediately and maintain safety standards.
• Maintain equipment and supplies in good working order following procedures.
• Refill water, coffee, and beverages during meals.
• Deliver on guest expectations and create WOW moments.
• Perform additional duties as needed based on business needs.

Your Journey

• Assist the Server’s team’s needs; stock, clean, and handle the flow of your section
• Set and reset tables before, during, and after service periods with clean polished silverware, glassware, share plates, and napkins as necessary
• Pre-bussing and bussing of tables during service period; assisting servers with service steps where necessary
• Cleaning all spills, and broken glassware/dishes immediately, using floor signs when necessary
• Cleaning of all equipment, tools, and supplies and maintain equipment in good working order while following all procedures and adhering to all cleaning and safety standards
• Refill water glasses, coffee cups, and other beverages as needed throughout the meal service.
• Deliver on guests’ expectations and have the desire to create WOW moments
• Perform additional duties as assigned that may be outside of the normal scope of duties, based on business needs

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and exercise mobility for extended periods of time during your scheduled shift
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and for extended periods during the shift
• Ability to push and pull food serving equipment and carts weighing up to 200 pounds on a semi - regular basis
