Montage Palmetto Bluff in Bluffton, SC is seeking a Host/Hostess to greet guests, manage seating and reservations, and ensure an exceptional dining experience. You will escort guests, present menus, and coordinate with the service team to maintain smooth dining flow.

Responsibilities

• Primarily greet and welcome guests in a positive and professional manner.
• Manage reservations and seating to minimize wait times.
• Escort guests to tables and provide menus, ensuring timely seating.
• Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests professionally.
• Manage reservations including new, confirmations, cancelations and seating updates.
• Work as a team and communicate with management, bartenders, and service staff.
• Deliver WOW moments and exceed guest expectations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned based on business needs.

Your Journey

• Primarily greet and welcome guests in a positive and professional manner
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements to ensure efficient use of dining space and minimize wait times.
• Escort guests to their tables and provide menus, ensuring that they are seated in a timely and courteous manner.
• Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests in a professional and efficient manner
• Managing reservations including new reservations, confirmations, cancelations and updating seating charts
• Work as a team and effectively communicating with management, bartenders, and service staff
• Deliver on guests’ expectations and have the desire to create WOW moments
• Perform additional duties as assigned that may be outside of the normal scope of duties based on business needs

Physical Requirements

• Grasping, holding, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending over
• Ability to stand and exercise mobility for extended periods of time during your scheduled shift
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and for extended periods during the shift
• Ability to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 100 pounds on a semi - regular basis
