Job summary

Montage Deer Valley is seeking a Server Attendant to join our team. You will assist the servers, stock and reset tables, and ensure clean, polished dining settings to deliver memorable guest experiences.

Ideal candidates enjoy the food and beverage industry, are personable, and eager to learn and grow within a collaborative team. Flexible scheduling, including weekends and holidays, is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Server team’s needs; stock, clean, and manage your section flow.
• Set and reset tables with clean silverware, glassware, and napkins.
• Pre-bussing and bussing; support servers during service.
• Clean spills and broken items immediately; use floor signs.
• Maintain equipment and supplies in good order per safety standards.
• Refill beverages throughout the meal service.
• Deliver on guest expectations and create WOW moments.
• Perform additional duties as needed by business.

Your Journey

• Assist the Server’s team’s needs; stock, clean, and handle the flow of your section
• Set and reset tables before, during, and after service periods with clean polished silverware, glassware, share plates, and napkins as necessary
• Pre-bussing and bussing of tables during service period; assisting servers with service steps where necessary
• Cleaning all spills, and broken glassware/dishes immediately, using floor signs when necessary
• Cleaning of all equipment, tools, and supplies and maintain equipment in good working order while following all procedures and adhering to all cleaning and safety standards
• Refill water glasses, coffee cups, and other beverages as needed throughout the meal service.
• Deliver on guests’ expectations and have the desire to create WOW moments
• Perform additional duties as assigned that may be outside of the normal scope of duties, based on business needs

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and exercise mobility for extended periods of time during your scheduled shift
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and for extended periods during the shift
• Ability to push and pull food serving equipment and carts weighing up to 200 pounds on a semi - regular basis
