Job summary

Montage Deer Valley is seeking a Barista to craft specialty coffee and tea drinks to the highest standards, delivering warm, professional service to our guests in a luxury setting.

You will maintain clean stations, manage inventory, and participate in ongoing training while helping create WOW moments.

This full-time role offers benefits and opportunities to grow within a luxury hotel team, with a schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all specialty coffee and tea drinks to the specified standards; provide guests with professional, friendly, and timely service.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the coffee equipment, counter, prep, stocking and menu knowledge; participate in ongoing service training of standards.
• Provide a daily/weekly inventory of coffee, tea, beverages and supplies.
• Responsible for polishing of silverware/glassware.
• Deliver on guests' expectations and have the desire to create WOW moments.
• Perform additional duties as assigned that may be outside of the normal scope of duties, based on business needs.

Your Journey

Must Haves

• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and exercise mobility for extended periods of time during your scheduled shift

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and for extended periods during the shift

• Ability to push and pull food serving equipment and carts weighing up to 200 pounds on a semi - regular basis
