Job summary

Park Hyatt Aviara in Carlsbad, part of Hyatt Hotels, is seeking a Server at Pacific Point Lounge. You will take guest orders, learn the menu, and suggest food and drinks to create a memorable dining experience.

Responsibilities include preparing the restaurant, keeping a sanitary environment, and delivering attentive service. Weekend and holiday availability required; we offer a generous benefits package and complimentary employee meals and parking.

• Previous experience as a server.
• Must possess a professional presentation.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Submit guest menu selections and present food and beverage preferences.

• Engage guests with casual conversation to shape the restaurant experience.
• Perform general restaurant preparation and maintain a sanitary environment.
• Support the dining team to ensure smooth service during peak periods.

About the Role – Server at Pacific Point Lounge

Restaurant servers are responsible for submitting guest menu selections and presenting these food and beverage preferences. The right person will gain menu knowledge, give recommendations from our compilation of cuisine, and drink offerings. A Hyatt restaurant server will engage in casual conversation and create the restaurant experience by their style and service attributes. Other duties include general restaurant preparation and maintaining a sanitary environment. If you have experience as a server in a restaurant, we'd love to hear from you!

The hourly rate for this position is $17.00.
