Job summary

Thrive Restaurant Group is seeking a Server to create memorable experiences by serving food and drinks and attending to guests’ needs in a friendly, caring atmosphere. You’ll work in a family-style setting where community matters, and tips contribute to earnings.

In this role you will deliver to tables, greet guests, suggest menu items, and coordinate with the bar and kitchen via POS. The job requires mobility, good communication, and the ability to handle payments accurately.

Qualifications

• Desire to care for others, grow, and learn.
• Positive attitude.
• Able to wipe down and clean dining areas.
• Able to transport items ~30 times per shift.
• Reading, writing, basic math, and verbal communication skills required.
• Mobility required during the entire shift.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and drinks and ongoing service to guests.
• Greet guests, answer questions and make suggestions regarding food, drinks, and service.
• Interact with all guests creating a friendly and upbeat atmosphere.
• Relay orders to service bar and kitchen via the point-of-sale computerized register system.
• Observe and serve guests responding to any needs or requests.
• Present guest checks to each table and facilitates payment. Makes correct change and/or completes the proper charge card procedure.
• Participates in the clearing and resetting of dining room tables.
