Job summary

John Knox Village in Lee's Summit, MO operates seven dining outlets on 400 acres, with a mix of scratch menus and varying service styles. This position provides service duties in a restaurant, dining room and kitchen, including hosting, setting up the dining area, taking orders, serving meals and maintaining clean, safe dining spaces.

You will follow instructions, support mission and PRIDE values, complete required training hours, and adapt to flexible hours from 7am to 8pm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must obtain Jackson County Food Handler Permit within 15 days of start date.
• Ability to work with a large group of residents/customers and adapt to irregular hours.

Responsibilities

• Set up and clean the assigned dining areas.
• Relay orders to kitchen and serve food.
• Perfom food preparation and ensure safety in dining areas.
• Adhere to tip reporting policy and assist residents as needed.
