Job summary

Delaware North Sportservice is hiring seasonal servers at American Family Field in Milwaukee, WI. You will greet guests, take orders, and serve in a fast-paced environment, ensuring excellent guest experiences throughout shifts.

The role includes operating the POS, handling payments, and responsibly serving alcohol. Candidates must meet age requirements, have 2+ years in high-volume service, and have basic credit card processing experience.

Qualifications

• At least two years of experience as a server in a high‑volume environment.
• Experience in credit card processing required.
• Previous experience with a point‑of‑sale system in service or hospitality environment preferred
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests, provides menus, communicates specials, answers questions about menu items, collects orders, serves items, attends to guests throughout visit.
• Accurately enters orders into the point‑of‑sale system for kitchen and bar staff.
• Serves alcohol beverages responsibly, requests identification, and adheres to alcohol service policies.
• Prepares and delivers checks and processes payments.
• Collaborates with other servers and kitchen/bar staff.
• Performs opening, closing, cleaning, and side work duties as assigned.
• Ensures equipment and workspaces are clean, sanitized, organized, and functioning.
• Must be punctual, well‑groomed, and in proper uniform for all shifts.

The opportunity

Delaware North Sportservice is hiring seasonal Servers to join our team at American Family Field in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. As a Server, you will be the face of our restaurant and play a critical role in providing excellent service to our guests.

Please note that this is a tipped position; the hourly minimum pay listed doesn’t include any potential tipped earnings.

Pay

$5.25 - $5.25 / hour

What will you do?

• Greets guests, provides menus, clearly communicates restaurant specials, answers questions about menu items, collects food and beverage orders, serves items ordered, and attends to guests need throughout their visit. Beer knowledge & etiquette a plus but not required.
• Accurately enters orders into point-of-sale system so that kitchen staff can prepare food and bar staff can prepare drinks, as needed.
• Serves alcohol beverages responsibly, requests identification, and adheres to all alcohol service policies and procedures.
• Prepares and delivers check to guests at table and accepts and processes payment.
• Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen and bar staff.
• Performs opening, closing, cleaning, and side work duties, as assigned.
• Ensures all equipment and workspaces are clean, sanitized, organized, and working properly.
• Must be punctual, well-groomed and in proper uniform for all scheduled shifts.

More about you

• At least two years' experience as a server in a high-volume environment.
• Experience in credit card processing required.
• Previous experience with a point-of-sale system in service or hospitality environment preferred
• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Minimum 4 day availability (10am start times on weekdays and 3-5p start time on weeknights)
• Open on weekends

Physical requirements

• Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching and repetitive motions.
• Ability to maneuver between tables and around corners.
• Ability to lift, balance and move large food trays, weighing up to 35 lbs.
• Visual acuity and hearing sufficient to take orders and prepare checks.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds for set-up, service and clean-up.
• Ability to stand or walk for entire length of shift; may include walking up and down stairs.
