Job summary

Hershey Lodge, located in Hershey, PA, is seeking a Part-Time Team Member to maintain a neat dining room and guest service area within the resort.

The role includes assisting servers, restocking dining areas, clearing and resetting tables, and delivering orders with care. It offers flexible shifts, a union environment, and sweet perks like FREE admission and parking to Hersheypark, plus discounts on food & shopping for employees.

Responsibilities

• Assist servers.
• Restock all dining and service areas.
• Clearing and reset tables.
• Completing daily and weekly cleaning sheets.
• Pouring coffee and water when required.
• Ensuring that condiments are amply supplied on the guest table prior to seating.
• Traying food orders and delivering them to the correct table number efficiently and accurately.
• Forwarding guest concerns to the applicable wait staff or supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned.

This position is responsible for maintaining a neat and orderly dining room and the guest service area in an assigned restaurant located within the Hershey Lodge.

Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):

Assist servers*

Restock all dining and service areas*

Clearing and reset tables*

Completing daily and weekly cleaning sheets*

Pouring coffee and water when required*

Ensuring that condiments are amply supplied on the guest table prior to the guests taking their seats*

Traying food orders and delivering them to the correct table number efficiently and accurately*

Forwarding any guest concerns to the applicable wait staff person or supervisor*

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Must be at least 16 years of age or older.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Must demonstrate an ability to work in an organized and efficient manner.

Must demonstrate an ability to work with limited supervision.

Must be able to effectively communicate with co-workers and staff.

Must present a clean and professional image.

Job Demands:

Must be able to work on one's feet for long periods of time.

Must be able to stoop, bend, push and lift up to 40 pounds.

Must work in a clean, efficient and orderly manner.

Ability to work flexible shifts including breakfast, lunch and dinner meal periods, according to operational needs

This is a union position and the work schedule will be based on union seniority. Candidates must be able to meet scheduled requirements, which will most likely require evening and weekend hours.
