Job summary

Four Seasons Resort and Residences Puerto Rico seeks a Server Assistant to support the dining team and ensure an expertly served experience. You will clear and reset tables, stock service items, and assist servers to maintain smooth restaurant operations.

Fluency in English and Spanish and at least one year in food and beverage service are preferred. The role offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits, with on-site restaurant work in Puerto Rico.

Qualifications

• Average reading, writing and oral proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Minimum one-year food and beverage service or equivalent.
• Ability to carry and balance a tray.
• Ability to multi-task in a high-volume environment.
• Basic food and beverage service knowledge and skills.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate and service the owner and guest's needs before requests are necessary.
• Retrieve and stock all linen, china, silver, glassware and food and beverage items.
• Complete opening and closing side work as assigned and have all tables set according to standard.
• Provide unobtrusive and professional service.
• Provide water throughout the meal to guests.
• Carry trays properly and safely as well as break them down.
• Clear tables and reset them for specific number of persons.
• Provide quick and attentive assistance to any mishap in the restaurant.
• Assist servers when needed.
• Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by management.

About the role
