Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group in Washington, DC is seeking a reliable Server Assistant to join Fireclay - Hotel Washington. You will seat guests, take orders, and ensure meals are presented attractively.

This full-time position offers daily pay options, health and life insurance, a 401(k) with company match, PTO and other benefits as part of SHG's employee-first culture. Prior hospitality experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School education with post-high school preferred.
• At least 1 year in a hotel/restaurant serving role.

Responsibilities

• Seats and takes accurate food orders from guests.
• Monitor food distribution, ensure proper presentation.
• Check station before, during and after shift for setup/cleanliness.
• Abide by liquor regulations pertaining to minors and intoxicated guests.
• Familiar with all menu items, preparation and service procedures.
• Totals checks, present to guests and process payments.
• Assists with bussing tables.
• Perform various other duties as assigned.
