Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation, including Piper restaurant at The Seabird Resort in Oceanside, CA, seeks a Server Assistant to support the Food Server and ensure guest satisfaction. The role is full-time, with a morning/afternoon/night schedule and holidays.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1+ years’ experience in a Food and Beverage role.
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
• Refined verbal communication skills.
• Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be available for a full time schedule of up to five days a week, mornings/afternoons/nights/weekends & holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, humble and knowledgeable service throughout the property.
• Liaise with restaurant and outlet operations staff to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Positive attitude with initial greetings of guests.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and flexible, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under time constraints.
• Ability to listen, communicate, and make connections with locals, guests, & colleagues.
