Milwaukee Repertory Theater is seeking a Server Assistant/Food Runner to support both front-of-house and back-of-house operations, delivering food and beverages to guests and assisting in light kitchen tasks. You will help set up, clean, and reset dining areas, ensuring orders are accurate and stations stay organized.

The role requires multi-tasking, a calm demeanor under pressure, and strong verbal communication to provide friendly service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist servers in properly serving food and beverages
• Clearing, cleaning and resetting tables to ensure they are ready for the next patrons
• Ensure food and beverages have been made and garnished properly
• Prepare non-alcoholic beverages
• Some light food preparation
• Ensure orders are grouped together and that customers receive the right order
• Must be able to work positively with all staff members, independently and as part of a team
• Uphold the standards of the organization at all times
• Ensure that your station is kept clean, organized and closed properly at end of shift
• General cleaning and maintenance of work areas, complete all assigned daily tasks

POSITION SUMMARY

The Server Assistant/Food Runner will work in both FOH and BOH to deliver food items to guests, prepare non-alcoholic beverages, prepare some light food items, deliver beverages to guests, assist in the set-up, cleaning and clearing of the dining room.
