Job summary

Makeready’s Bar Sprezzatura in Portland is seeking a Server Assistant to help set the stage for memorable dining experiences in a high-volume, fine dining setting. You’ll support seamless service with energy, attention to detail, and teamwork, while learning and contributing to a hospitality-forward team.

The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of experience in fine dining or casual high-volume environments, excellent communication, and the ability to lift 40 pounds.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years’ experience in fine dining or casual fine dining, high volume atmosphere
• Exceptional communication skills
• Prior experience as a busser or server assistant in a full-service restaurant
• Ability to move and lift 40 pounds at a time
• Must be able to stand and walk for an extended period of time
• At least 16 years of age

• Support seamless service in a high-volume, fine dining environment
• Assist servers to ensure a memorable dining experience
• Contribute to a clean, organized dining area and teamwork during shifts
