Hawkers Asian Street Food in Delray Beach, FL is seeking a Server Assistant to help maintain a fast-paced, welcoming dining room. You will work with servers to ensure guests receive a seamless experience from seating to departure.

Availability must include evenings, weekends, and holidays. Both part-time and full-time schedules are available as we train the right person for a dynamic team environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old (required due to alcohol service environment).
• Food Handler's Certification within 30 days of hire.
• Must understand and follow OSHA and HACCP compliance standards.
• Prior restaurant or hospitality experience preferred but not required – we will train the right person.
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and genuine passion for hospitality.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Reliable transportation and consistent availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly as they are seated and assist servers with beverages and initial table needs.
• Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently after guests depart, ensuring the dining room is guest-ready.
• Transport used tableware, glassware, and silverware to the dish room and place items in washing areas.
• Clean and sanitize tabletops, chairs, and booths between seatings.
• Run food and drinks to tables as directed by servers and managers.
• Respond to guest requests promptly and communicate needs to the server immediately.
• Inspect and clean assigned restrooms as needed throughout the shift.
• Assist with opening/closing duties and ongoing side work as assigned.
