Job summary

InterContinental The Clement Monterey on Cannery Row is seeking a Server Assistant (Busser/Runner) for a full-time role in Food & Beverage. The starting wage is $17.90 per hour, with responsibilities including assisting servers, clearing tables, and maintaining a clean dining area.

The ideal candidate will be friendly, team‑oriented, able to multitask in a fast-paced setting, and committed to hospitality excellence.

Responsibilities

• Assist servers and culinary team with timely delivery of food and beverages.
• Clear, clean, sanitize, and reset tables efficiently during service.
• Maintain clean and organized dining, service, and work areas.
• Assist with opening, closing, and side-work duties.
• Replenish glassware, silverware, linens, condiments, and supplies.
• Communicate with servers and culinary staff for accurate service.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly and professionally.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hotel safety standards.
• Support other Food & Beverage areas as needed.
• Demonstrate a positive, professional demeanor and genuine hospitality.
