Job summary

Hai Hospitality is seeking a Server Assistant at Uchiko Houston. You will support service at all levels and help create memorable guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Must effectively communicate with guests and other employees.
• Lift and carry trays, dishes, equipment, and goods up to 50 lbs.
• Stand and walk for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work in temperatures hot and cold and maintain a clean workspace.

Responsibilities

• Familiarize yourself with the menu, specials, and Japanese cuisine; training provided.
• Develop as a sake or wine expert through our program.
• Be active on the floor, assist with side work, bus and reset tables.
• Stock supplies, polish glassware, and assist servers with service.
• Deliver food and explain dishes to guests; manage curbside orders.
• Receive, organize, and deliver curbside orders to guests waiting outside.
