Job summary

Gold Key PHR in Norfolk, VA is seeking a restaurant support team member to maintain cleanliness, reset tables quickly, and assist servers during peak hours. You will help keep the dining area organized, clock in using the POS system, and maintain safe, clean conditions for guests and staff.

The role requires basic reading/writing, good communication, and flexibility to work weekends and holidays in a high-volume environment. Prior restaurant experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years old and able to read/write to perform daily functions.
• Basic communication skills for guest service interactions.
• Basic computer skills to use the POS system for clocking in and out.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Good teamwork and the ability to work without constant supervision.
• Education: Some High School, Diploma or Equivalent Preferred.
• Experience in a high-volume restaurant is a plus.
• Must follow a documented standard table setup specification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of restaurant throughout shift and during peak hours.
• Provide a clean, net representation while in company uniform; maintain station cleanliness.
• Complete opening, running, and closing sidework; ensure proper table setup and placement.
• Inspect tables, tops, floors and chairs for cleanliness and standards.
• Reset tables quickly to reduce turnover and communicate with hosts and servers.
