Job summary

Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar in Palo Alto, CA is seeking a Server Assistant to support servers and kitchen in delivering an elevated dining experience. You will assist in the dining room, help with wine service, and ensure orders are accurate and guest expectations are met.

The role requires at least one year of restaurant experience as a server or busser; Bloomin Brands benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401k) are noted in the posting, with compensation starting at $18.70 per hour plus

• Minimum one year of previous restaurant experience as a server or busser.

Responsibilities

• As a Server Assistant, you will assist the kitchen and Servers in the dining room.
• Working in the kitchen, you will help with the assembly of prepared food and condiments following Fleming’s standards.
• You will check orders for accuracy, review those orders with the Guests to ensure they are prepared to our Guest’s expectations, track food times, stock tables with proper items, bussing tables, offer drink recommendations and refills, decanting and selling wine & performing table side service to create an elevated and seamless experience for our Guests.
