Job summary

Fouquet's New York is seeking a dedicated AM Server Assistant/Back Waiter to join our Food & Beverage team. The role supports front servers, clears and resets tables, and helps run drinks and food to guests in a fast-paced, fine-dining setting.

The ideal candidate has 1-2+ years of serving experience, preferably in fine dining, with a flexible schedule and strong teamwork skills. This position emphasizes guest satisfaction, sanitation, and seamless communication across all service stations.

Qualifications

• Stand, walk and move during entire shift.

Responsibilities

• Assist front servers, host/hostess and management in clearing, cleaning and resetting tables per seating plan.
• Assist with drink orders and expedite food to correct seat numbers.
• Maintain communication with the kitchen and monitor the drinks pass and bar stations.
• Bussing and resetting tables, keeping stations stocked during service.
• Operate and learn the POS system quickly to ensure smooth service.
• Collaborate with FOH staff and leadership for efficient service.

Salary: $15 hourly, plus tips

Hotel Barrière Fouquet’s is looking for a dedicated and experienced AM Server Assistant/ Back Waiter to join our Food & Beverage team.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting front servers, host/hostess and management in clearing, cleaning and resetting tables according to seating plan
• Assisting front servers with drink orders
• Run and expedite food to correct seat numbers
• Strong communication with the kitchen
• Bussing empty tables and resetting
• Run clean glassware from the polishing station to the bar
• Must have be able to quickly learn and adapt to our POS System
• Monitor the drinks pass and barista stations to efficiently deliver cocktails, wines by the glass, and coffee as they are made
• Maintain a high standard of safety and cleanliness
• Work as a team with other server assistants, FOH staff, and leadership to ensure an efficient, smooth service
• Assist with polishing any service items and keeping related stations stocked throughout service
• Additionally, may be responsible for performing all other responsibilities as directed by the business or as assigned by management.

Job Requirements:

• 1-2+ years of serving experience preferred
• Previous fine dining experience preferred
• The ability to work a flexible schedule
• Ability to communicate and listen to team members and guests
