Adobe Clubhouse at the Arizona Biltmore Golf Club in Central Phoenix seeks a courteous Server Assistant to help bridge the kitchen and dining areas. You’ll clear tables, refill waters, stock items, and support the Server during busy periods, ensuring smooth service and a positive guest experience.

Ideal candidates are en route to high school diploma or GED, with strong multitasking, communication, and teamwork skills. Flexible scheduling and golf perks are available.

Located in Central Phoenix, the Adobe Clubhouse at the Arizona Biltmore Golf Club offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner in a welcoming golf club atmosphere. We want our members and guests to receive an unforgettable dining experience. In addition to our Restaurant and Market, we will be hosting a variety of banquets and events in creating memorable experiences.Job SummaryUnder general supervision, the Server Assistant helps maintain a smooth workflow between the kitchen and the tables. The goal is to partner with the Server to make service faster and better and to help enhance the Adobe Clubhouse food and beverage quality and reputation.JDM Golf Teammates will role model the core values and behaviors by:Cultivating a positive work environment.Being efficient with time at work.Communicating effectively with management, co-workers, and guests.Being flexible.Maintaining integrity in all conversations and actions.Consistently reporting to work on time prepared to perform duties of position.Following internal procedures and external regulations; and reporting issues to management.Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe duties and responsibilities listed below are essential to the employee’s position.OperationalSet up tables with appropriate utensils napkins, condiments, etc. before guests are seated.Provide friendly and attentive service to guests answering questions or notifying the Server or management with any concerns guests may have.During meal service, provide attentive service to assigned table(s) removing used dishes, filling water, etc.Clean tables including removing used dishes, glasses, and utensils from tables after guess have finished their meals.Sweeping under the tables as well as the general restaurant areas.Wipe down tables and chairs to maintain cleanliness and presentation standards.Restock items such as napkins, condiments, etc., as needed throughout shift.Provide assistance to Server by bringing them additional items they may need for their tables.Assist Server as needed with food delivery, especially with large parties and during peak periods.OtherMay be scheduled to assist in setting up banquet tables, service food, or other tasks related to events.Participates in pre-shift meetings, taste tests, and training.Conform with all safety standards and use of all appropriate safety equipment.Follow good personal hygiene guidelines.Performs other duties, as assigned.Education and Experience RequiredPursuing a High school diploma or general education degree (GED)Previous restaurant experience desired.Skills and AbilitiesOutstanding coordination and multi-tasking abilities.Possess strong interpersonal skills to deliver exceptional service – should be friendly, approachable, and attentive.Strong attention to detail and time management skills.Strong teamwork and collaboration: Ability to collaborate with kitchen staff, servers, and other restaurant staff.Strong communication skills including effective listening.Highly organized to manage multiple tables.Flexible and adaptable to changes in workflow, menu items, staff, etc.Ability to remain calm during peak hours or challenging guests or members.Demonstrated working knowledge of food handling regulations.Computer SkillsRequired:Ability to use employee self-service on company’s human resources/payroll databaseCertificates, Licenses, RegistrationsPosition may utilize golf carts; thus, must have a valid driver’s license. Otherwise will not be assigned to this duty.Unexpired Arizona food and liquor certifications. Must meet age requirements to handle and serve alcoholic beverages. Note: If individual is under 19 years old, individual does not need liquor certification and will not serve alcohol.OtherRegular attendance is required. Additional hours including weekends may be required on a regular basis to fulfill duties of position.
