Job summary

Main Event Entertainment is seeking a friendly Server Assistant to support our servers and ensure guests have an outstanding dining experience. You will greet guests, take drink orders, and help deliver food and beverages while keeping dining areas clean and organized.

Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends is important. Prior food and beverage experience helps, but is not required. Certifications per location may be needed.

• Prior food and beverage experience is a plus but not required.
• Guest-focused mindset and strong teamwork are essential.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.
• Food Handlers Certification and Alcohol Certification as required by location.

Responsibilities

At Main Event, our Server Assistants support the Server to ensure that our Guests have an amazing experience! As a Server Assistant, your primary duty is to help with refills, pre-bussing tables, helping with table turns, and making sure the dining areas are spotlessly clean! You also assist with aspects of service like greeting Guests and taking drink orders. You’re also dedicated to delivering the highest standards in safety and sanitation.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING DAILY?

• Upholding our cleanliness and safety standards (We take this seriously!)
• Assisting with greeting Guests and taking drink orders
• Delivering food and drinks in a timely manner and anticipating Guest’s needs
• Supporting the Server by refilling condiments, pre-bussing tables, and turning tables
• Creating memorable experiences by providing exceptional service
• Performing opening, mid-day, or closing duties

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Prior food and beverage experience a plus but not required
• Guest-focused mindset (We heart our Guests!)
• Teamwork is a must (Teamwork makes the dream work!)
• Food Handlers Certification and Alcohol Certification, as required
