Overview

The Server Assistant with F&B 575 at Aman New York maintains all dining room environment and equipment, assists servers, anticipates guests’ needs, and addresses them accordingly.

This position has an hourly rate of $16.50 + Tips.

Key Responsibilities

1. Check assigned station before, during, and after shift for proper setup and cleanliness.
2. Complete designated side work checklists (both opening and closing).
3. Keep dining room floors free of debris and spills.
4. Bus and reset tables for the next guest, and handle linen logistics.
5. Provide excellent service, assist guests courteously and efficiently.
6. Maintain cleanliness of the dining room and station at all times.
7. Keep chairs and banquettes clean and clear of debris.
8. Handle customer requests promptly.
9. Set up side station with water pitchers, etc., as per side work sheet.
10. Follow the restaurant's cleaning program as per side work sheet.
11. Clear tables between courses and during the meal.
12. Deliver food from kitchen to guest tables, including tray service.
13. Assist in setting up tables according to floor plan.
14. Anticipate guest needs to enhance their experience.
15. Attend all food and beverage training sessions as requested.
16. Warmly farewell guests and thank them for their visit.
17. Be aware of each guest's water preference.
18. Prepare coffee, tea, and hot beverages for guests.
19. Package to-go food appropriately.
20. Participate in daily pre-meal/communication meetings and monthly department meetings.
21. Communicate professionally with team members.
22. Perform other responsibilities as assigned by management.
