Job summary

Ontario Trillium Foundation is seeking a dedicated server assistant to support our restaurant team by clearing and setting tables, cleaning floors, and rolling silverware. You will help ensure a clean, welcoming dining area and assist servers during busy periods.

The ideal candidate is well-organized, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and committed to delivering excellent guest service and a smooth, enjoyable guest experience at every visit.

Responsibilities

• Clearing dirty plates, utensils, and glassware from tables as required.
• Carrying dirty tableware to the kitchen area.
• Preparing tables for arriving patrons by wiping spills, replacing linens, and setting up tableware, napkins, and condiments.
• Delivering food to tables when Servers are busy.
• Responding to guests and informing management of any complaints.
• Arranging tables and chairs to accommodate larger groups of guests.
• Ensuring that the server station is adequately stocked with necessary restaurant supplies.

We are looking to hire hardworking and dedicated server assistants to provide assistance to our servers and ensure that tables are cleared, cleaned, and properly set for guests. The server assistant’s responsibilities include cleaning tables, floors, removing trash, and rolling silverware for the restaurant. You should also be able to perform end-of-day clean-up duties.

To be successful as a server assistant, you should be well-organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Ultimately, an outstanding server assistant should demonstrate effective communication skills and always achieve excellent guest service while providing the Perfect Night Out.

Server Assistant Responsibilities:
